​My passion is to stage compelling stories as a means of inspiring empathy and transformation within a community. 

 

I work collaboratively to engage the imaginations of artists, technicians, & audience members alike. I believe theatre should be simultaneously entertaining, intellectually challenging, and emotionally cathartic for all those involved. My productions are high-energy, calling upon my background in dance, clowning, Commedia, Shakespeare, musical theatre, and ensemble-devised work. 

 

I have a particular interest in new work. My vision is that these stories be used as a meaningful platform to spark the sometimes difficult conversations surrounding controversial topics across a wide diversity of audiences, as it was used by the ancient Greeks, Shakespeare, and itinerate Commedia troupes. In this way, I believe theatre stimulates dialogue that connects the community and changes the world. I want theatre to be playful, exciting, and accesible to everyone.
